SIDE HUSTLE

REALITY CHECK

THE BACKGROUND

In 2017 Alexander Keblow Kofoed and I won a Graphite Pencil for a party game idea we made for Hasbro.

After the award show we never heard from Hasbro and thought it’d be a shame if it would just stay a case study for our books. So we contacted a game production company, pitched the idea and ended up making it.

THE GAME

It’s a game where you learn what your friends are thinking about you.

You take turns reading up cards with questions like “Who smells their fingers right after scratching their ass?” or “Who would have the best selling autobiography?”.

The players then vote  anonymously on who they think match the card best. And the one with most votes gets the card, and in some round a shock with an electric taser that are also in the game.

THE RESULTS

It has currently been sold in over 2.000 copies and are still being sold at the equivalent of Waterstones in Denmark.
